Chimney Repair That Knows Salt Lake County Weather

We started Wintervale Bros to handle chimney repair in Holladay and the surrounding neighborhoods where cold snowy winters drive the real workload. Freeze-thaw cycles in Salt Lake County crack mortar joints on older brick chimneys common in Holladay Village and Mount Olympus homes, while heavy snow loads push water through flashing that was never meant for this climate. Our crew works from our base at 6245 Highland Dr and stays available 24/7 so homeowners in Cottonwood and nearby Cottonwood Heights do not wait days when a draft issue appears after a storm.

We cover routes through Olympus Hills Park and Holladay City Park because those areas share the same semi-arid pattern of hot summers followed by sudden cold snaps that accelerate creosote buildup and spalling on flues. Millcreek and Salt Lake City jobs often involve similar masonry from the same era, so we bring the same repair approach whether we are restoring a chimney crown near Mount Olympus or resealing a liner in Cottonwood. Every job starts with an on-site look at how local terrain and wind patterns affect draft and water entry.

Our team stays focused on the actual conditions we see daily rather than generic fixes. We know which streets in Holladay Village get the most runoff during spring melt and how that changes the way we approach crown and chase repairs.
